Nissan originated in 1928, when Yoshisuke Aikawa, Nissan’s founder, was named president of Nihon Sangyo. At first, Nihon Sangyo primarily manufactured auto parts but debuted the first mass-produced Japanese vehicles in 1933.
In the 50s, Nissan Datsan pickups and sedans became popular overseas in the U.S. now, Nissan vehicles are known for being extremely durable and reliable, lasting many years.
